Thanks! But still having problems as u say adjusting the colors.. Seems different from what I edit on the CRT but doesn't seems to turned out as nice on lcds... Oh well. Practice some more :)

That's weird... pay more attention to your White Balance then!
Color is more washed out and some are bias to yellowish while others are on the cold blueish!
It's just my personal preference though, shouldn't bother too much if it doesn't hurt your eyes :)

CRT's color dynamic is much richer, if you know what I mean...
I'm not too sure about your LCD, but if you view you photos in LCD, you are not looking at the highest/widest colors dynamic. You might excessively adding too much brightness and contrast.

I always find my photos looks like shit when I view them on my LCD. Especially those images purposely sharpened... if only I can afford a Mac LCD or those made from Sony...

anyway... keep up the good work... :)

you almost did the right thing when you had IMG_1623.jpg along with this...
layer them together to bring out better exposure for both the landscape and the sky...

just in case I miss this out, adjust your CRT to near bright most and set refresh rate higher than 60Hz, preferably 75Hz... very stressful to the flyback but at least less stress to your eyes...
